What is Transmedia?
Transmedia storytelling allows narratives to take place over multiple platforms and formats using current digital platforms whether it be novels, comics, mobile apps, games, graphic novels or film.
For Black Kungfu Chick that means in addition to making the web series we are designing a game app, interactive blog and comic to expand the story structure of this incredible new heroine.
The transmedia components will be developed after the first three episodes have been completed.

ComicThe comic is a stand alone print media which comes from the mind of Tasha's brother, Jimmy. In the comic we get to see Tasha fight battles beside her brother as a young black man growing up in South LA.

Interactive BlogThe interactive blog allows users to post and answers questions within the community of the BKC Fan Club. The blog can be accessed online or through the mobile app.
